Liquid crystal smart film (also known as PDLC smart film) is a smart film that is applied to glass and can change its transparency at the touch of a button.
How It Works?
- Inside the film are liquid crystals.
- When powered → the crystals align → the glass becomes transparent.
- When unpowered → the crystals are disordered → the glass becomes frosted / opaque.
